Chlorophyll Clan, assemble! (5/19-22/25)

during these four days our main focus was our research. my groups main area of focus is the teak plantations. our group is working specifically with the plant called boton de oro. were researching the plants health within two different plantations in batipa. my job was mainly using the CCM reader to measure the chlorophyll levels in each plant and analyzing as well as manipulating the data in excel. My partner robert did a lot of computer science stuff that I don't know much about so that's about as much info on my project I want to give. Our mentor jake has been really helpful and patient with the both of us, and for that i'm thankful. Our group is made up of people that all study and practice in different things but somehow we made it work :) for my sake, this will probably be the last time I talk about this project.

here's a recap of some other cool things we got to do while we were slaving away, oh by the way I think i forgot to mention the fact that we were bamboozled. there is NO AC here, the showers are outside and the ones inside have no ventilation, the electricity went out every night for the first three nights, we have still been moving non-stop every. single. day. i'm so overstimulated I could cry but i can't because there isn't time. i miss being able to plug in my phone and have it charge. also I probably only got to talk to my mom once since i've been here. maybe that's not sucha bad thing since the last time I talked to she let me facetime my dog and i almost started crying HAHAHAHA. whatever ill give a review once this is all over.
